Pulling an All-Nighter

Last week I encouraged my 1-2-1 workshop participant to do an all nighter to capture some stars - and maybe the Aurora, which we didn't - and hopefully a nice sunrise. Well it didn't turn out as nice as I hoped, but Ian was just amazed by the amount of stars we saw over Doolough. This picture is a 10 minute exposure to create a star trail with a bit of light painting for the foreground. We think the green/yellow light in the background was most likely just light pollution from Louisburgh, but who knows, it could have been a little Aurora glow
